As a culture of caring, we at Nufactor take the health and well-being of our teammates, healthcare professionals and patients very seriously. Each of us plays a vital role in preventing the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
To help prevent transmission of the virus, we are enforcing a virtual working environment (work from home) for many of our team members. Understanding our responsibility this transition will give us the freedom to continue to supply patients with the critical-care products they need.
We will be available to you with the frequency and care that you have come to expect. Please note:
- For healthcare professionals: In place of in-person office visits, we will reach out to you via phone call, email, text, fax, or video call.
- For patient home infusions: In combination with our nursing partners we have implemented COVID-19 Patient and Nurse Screening. It is prudent and necessary to screen patients and nurses to assess both for exposure to COVID 19 and ask questions to assess symptoms in the 24 hours prior to any in-home infusions. Nurses will contact patients prior to every visit (no later than 24 hours before) to assess your current condition. Nurses will also be assessed prior to entry into a patient’s home.
Our phone, email, and fax lines continue to be available. Please contact us using those methods at any time. During this time, please forgive potential background noise, until we can all return to a more normal way of life.
The next few weeks may be filled with uncertainty as the dynamic situation with COVID-19 continues to unfold, but we are committed to working as hard as ever to support our patients and their healthcare providers, while taking into consideration the health and safety of patients, healthcare providers and their staff, families, and the community.
Please refer to CDC and WHO for additional up-to-date information on COVID-19.
